My favorite local nursery! I'm like a kid in a candy store every visit. Already introducing friends and family too!

  • *****

Quality plants, very knowledgeable staff, and a great native and indoor plant selection.

Steven and Manny were great. My fountain never looked better and they planted some too. Really appreciated the care they took to be considerate of the yard. Definitely calling them again. Great nursery - got exactly the plants I wanted. Great service.

The nursery was cool and way larger than I expected! There were so many amazing plants and pottery. I talked to a couple of the staff there and they were very helpful and friendly. Manny had a great conversation with me about my options with landscaping our yard and which plants would go well together. He was very knowledgable on which plants have similar water needs too! They even offered to place an order for a specific plant I was looking for. Overall a great experience, made me feel comfortable and I will definitely be back soon!

One of my favorite nurseries in San Diego (and I've been to a LOT of them)!! They always have beautiful and unusual houseplants and stunning outdoor varieties. So many varieties of flowers, succulents, bonsai plants, and other unique, hard-to-find plants. There's also a ton of pottery. They source from over 70 different growers! I stop in almost every time I drive by and there's ALWAYS something new and exciting. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you're a plant lover!

10/10 easily for me. I came in, and was so happy because the plants are super healthy and there are so many of them. The indoor plant selection is fantastic and you can find a lot of plants very fair priced and some more rare ones. I gate going to a nursery and it being all Home Depot and Lowe's basic plants. This is not that.

Lovely boutique nursery that we visited on our way back home from a mini road trip. I have been wanting to visit this nursery for quite some time because I had heard that they carried often difficult to find plants.

Parking was easy, they have a little parking lot in front of the nursery. Actual layout of the nursery was very easy to navigate. A large selection of pottery can be found in the back and a greenhouse for house plants towards the middle. We spoke to a couple of the staff who were very helpful! I found a number of plants that I did not already own, since I am quite a collector. Overall very happy with the selection and would definitely return when I am in the north part of San Diego.

My friend who lives in Encinitas took me here on a nursery tour of many in the area... and this was one of the best. I especially liked their selection of air plants... they have many different types at varied price points... I ended up with 7 of them for $35. I hope I can keep them alive.

This was my first time coming here. I've passed it a couple of times driving by and finally came in. I was on the hunt for houseplants. I have about every kind of houseplant (among many other kinds of plants) and I was looking to fill in my collection (not like I have any more room! Ha ha ha). Lots of harder to find houseplants you have to order online or really search around for. Some places will only have 2-4 more unusual plants in a sea of pothos, ferns and spider plants.

This nursery is beautiful. A great selection of succulents, flowers and some gorgeous bromeliads. I am sort of over my succulent phase after the whole terrarium craze many years ago but they reeled me in with some of the more interesting ones they had!

Upon entering their indoor plant greenhouse my eyes went wild. They had SO MANY beautiful varieties. Aroids, peperomias, philodendrons, antheriums, you name it they probably had it. They were all so healthy looking too. While they also had some more "common" plants they seemed to be of a more interesting color or different variety than you are used to seeing. If you are looking for some weird varieties of snake plants (which I didn't think I was but I definitely needed) or some airplants they have a TON of airplants! They seem to only stock the primo stuff no junk here!

I am adding this place to my favorites list for sure. I will be back many many times to come!

Our first visit to this lovely nursery and had awesome help and all of our questions were answered. We are new gardeners. Manny was extremely knowledgeable and took time to answer questions and educate us on our planting projects. We will be back! Thank you!

Absolutely loved this place! Walked around to find a new pot for my monstera, but was a bit stuck, so I asked for some help and Manny came to the rescue. He was beyond helpful, showed us a whole new section of pots, and gave some good advice about some of my houseplants. My neighbor got a houseplant and one for me for my birthday. The small houseplants are 20% off right now. Manny was really friendly and educational. Was unbothered by my indecisiveness! Excellent customer service. We will definitely come back again!

Had a beautiful afternoon here with my neighbor and the kids. I'm a total novice in the plant game, so I leave it to my friend to educate me. We toured the large nursery and picked out a beginner plant for me while she was knee deep in the advanced plant arena. We had some questions regarding replanting and their gorgeous pots when Manny became a welcome addition to our group. He was so helpful, patient, took us on a tour of the pottery shed- suddenly we were on a roll! I just have to say thank you, Manny! Not only does my workspace look more inviting with my plant, but my new excitement about getting another one will definitely have us back for more!

I was part of a group of 8 women from our coffee group that visited Andersons on Tuesday. Marc gave us some of the history of Andersons that was very interesting. Hard to imagine what Encinitas looked like back in 1954 when they first opened. Then Mariah led us on a tour of the grounds and answered many of our questions. I learned why my basil plant was so yellow :( They have so many unique plants and we enjoyed shopping. I will go back for sure!

This nursery is the best! I'm working on an event and Steve went way out of his way to help me.He ordered special plants, repotted them and had them all exactly right and on time.
He took great initiative to call a bunch of different suppliers to find what I needed and was so pleasant to work with. This nursery has the nicest people working for them and Steve is at the top of the list!

  • *****

This place is amazing! I went with my 2 and 1 year old to pick out plants for our Father's Day gardening project. Marc the owner met me almost immediately, and he personally walked me through the grounds showing me how best to set up my above ground produce garden. This nursery is tucked away right off the coast, but when you are there, you feel like you are in some kind of forest wilderness. It's beautiful. Marc gave my kids water to drink, and he was so kind and genuine. I'm excited to go back for our 2nd planter garden soon. Thank you Andersons La Costa Nursery. I strongly encourage anyone looking at gardening or plant/flower needs, to check out this place!

Love this place. It inspires me to enjoy the true things I love to do.

Wonderful selection of plants, succulents, trees and pots.

    Little hidden hideaway.

I love small nurseries and this place is amazing. The prices are affordable, and the employees are very knowledgable and can give you great information for growing things in this local climate. Great selection. And they have a great indoor plant section.

It was such a breath of fresh air to find Andersons La Costa Nursery! This was our first trip here and frankly my husband and I were tired of going to nurseries with associates that were too busy to answer our questions, had no clue about their products and/or had a rude attitude. I was so happy to have someone ask me if we needed help for a change!

First, Taylor directed us to the new arrivals of fruit trees and spent a fair amount of time educating us on the fruit trees we were interested in. Later on, we met Manny and he spent even more time with us giving us more tips on our fruit trees and potting solutions. My husband also met with Steve and was pleased to learn more about the products that would best complement our purchases. They have an excellent selection of pottery, rare fruit trees, abundance of delicious veggies and so much more. I am happy to spend ALL of my gardening money only at Andersons. They deserve it and I was VERY impressed with their knowledge, time, patience and attention they give to their customers.

  • *****

Great selection, you can tell they have a passion for gardening and plants. Also plants are always healthy. Friendly helpful staff. I am a definite plant geek and I always leave with something that I love. I love their Moosa Creek inventory, as well as everything else. Definitely a place to come if you are a plant enthusiast. My favorite nursery I have been to so far in San Diego County.

  • *****

I love small nurseries and this place is amazing. Great selection. And they have a great indoor plant section.

I've shopped at Anderson's more than a handful of times. Although their selection is usually of a nice quality, there's not always the quantity I need. The ladies who work there are helpful and I'd much rather support a small local business than putting my $$ in the hands of the big box store nurseries anyday!

  • *****

Whenever we are in the need of any exotic plants we always go to Anderson they have a great variety and the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. When I'm looking for something extremely unusual if they don't have it they always offer to bring it in for me if they can locate it. Any problems with bugs or disease they generally have the answer and the solution. Some people say Anderson's is a little pricey but I feel it's worth it because of the staff and the knowledge they are always willing to share thanks Anderson for all the help and for the wonderful Greenery

I've been frequenting Andersons for the last 6 years and have always been promptly helped by a friendly and knowledgeable staff gardener that is sincerely vested in my plant needs. Over the years I've gone to them for help with my vegetable garden, my indoor plants, a few outdoor trees, consulted with them on bug issues, plant foods, etc. and have always been very pleased with their selection and advice. My most recent experience was specific to two matching indoor plants that we've had in our home for about 5 years. Recently one of them was looking unhealthy so I called Andersons and described the situation to Steven. After a while he suggested that I send him photos of the two plants so that he could delve into the problem more thoroughly. We had a number of email exchanges - all of which were prompt and productive and within weeks I'm now back to two healthy plants. I feel that Andersons is one of those special places that represents what our great community is about - helpful, friendly people looking out for each other and enjoying the place we live. I so enjoy going to Andersons and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Randi from Andersons La Costa Nursery completely redid our entryway plantings and freshened up the rest of the landscape. From design to installation everything was professionally handled and completed on a tight time line. Randi was just a ton of fun to work with. Her recommendations are stunning. Friends say the looks like a resort oasis. Highly recommend.

  • *****

Excellent, personalized service! Great selection and very knowledgeable. I was so happy to get to support local, too! Make a day of it and get all of your garden needs met here!

  • *****

Amazing local nursery. Friendly educated staff, great selection, and all around awesome place. They also have a design center to help you with all of your design needs!

  • *****

Love this place! It's a family owned business who really does great landscaping plans. When we're ready to redo our yard, this is who we'll be using!

I was looking for where to buy trees in the coastal area, either boxed or 15 gallon. Anderson's not only had a good selection, but the staff was very knowledgeable. A nice gentleman spent a lot of time with me to talk about the selection. He showed me photos of mature trees in a great tree book. I ended up buying a boxed Bottle Tree and arranged for their staff to deliver and plant it for me.

Anderson's La Costa is my new "go to" nursery.

  • *****

This is a better nursery since a change in ownership. They have a great selection of rare plants and bulbs. The nursery is very tidy. The staff is always helpful. Will continue to suggest to all my friends to go here since they are not aware of the changes and will be quite pleased.

  • *****

The owners and employees are super helpful and friendly, and they have a nice selection of plants. It is an enjoyable place to visit and purchase.

The plants are probably a little more expensive than the big box stores or help yourself nurseries, but they select really nice specimens, and they provide a lot more than you get at the other places.

They can help you plan a garden. They are able to help with finding the right plant for specific situations and needs. They can deliver and even plant for you. There are fees for those things, but they have the capability. I did have some plants delivered and one large tree planted by the nursery, and I thought the fees were reasonable.

The extra helpfulness, knowledge, and quality of plants are huge pluses, and it really helps in streamlining the process and getting your yard looking good quickly.

Anderson's La Costa has been my go-to nursery for all landscaping projects for over 20 years. Initially, I frequented Anderson's La Costa because I felt inspired creatively just by visiting and will never forget the first time I visited. It was more like a botanic garden than a nursery. Their gorgeous installations, Lagoon side location, and unique plants all add to the experience of gardening as a creative endeavor.

The recent drought pushed me to consider replacing my lawn with low-water alternatives and Anderson's led me to the perfect replacement (Dymondia) as well as Natalie, who helped me complete the project in the most pleasant and thoughtful way. I see so many amazing opportunities for native and low-water use gardening with Anderson's as a partner.

I had the pleasure of working with Anderson's again through an event for Leucadia 101 Main Street and the whole experience was nothing but perfect. Their team was a true dream to work with, the quality of their plants is incomparable and I felt full confidence that the project was going to be the new gold standard thanks to La Costa Anderson's. I look forward to working with them again because their special touch added visible magic to the event site.

  • *****

Nice place and very friendly people working here. Smaller selection than many other nurseries but most of the plants looked pretty healthy. We needed a pair of pots and so many we liked came in only a quantity of 1. But we did find one that was beautiful and unique. This nursery isn't too convenient for us but if we are back in the area, we would definitely return. Love the smaller family-run businesses and love to support them!

  • *****

We were planting various areas of our yard (vines, potted, raised beds and directly into ground). The staff was very helpful providing ideas, growth estimations and seasonality. We found them to have more than enough variety with reasonable pricing.

We will be back to buy additional flowers and Curtis trees to complete our landscaping.

    I strongly recommend them.

  • *****

Whenever we need plants, trees, shrubs, ground cover, etc...La Costa Nursery is the first place we visit. Their selection along with the wonderful customer service makes for an ideal spot for buying anything for your yard or home. Plus, the fact that they're a mom-and-pop is always a selling point for me too. Any time I can help out a small business, I try to.
The knowledge that they have of their plants and how to treat them is much appreciated when shared, as I have what is known as "opposite-of-green-thumb", and any time I can get help NOT killings my plants and flowers, I listen.
Drop by, ask anyone for help, and there's always someone there to get you on your way to a beautiful garden.

    Great selection, interesting nursery
Anderson's La Costa Nursery is a fun place to visit because it's like a little paradise made up of lots of different areas --it has a maze-like or a secret garden ambience. Lots of plants, many unusual ones, people who are willing to help and give ideas. The things I've bought from them have done well in my garden and have received lots of great comments. Even with a Japanese Maple with delicate leaves (which doesn't do well around here), they suggested a particular variety and the best spot to plant it --it's done great there! They even have things like Cornmeal gluten for natural weed control.

    Gourgous Garden
This nursery is just beautiful. If you don't want to spend but want to enjoy the beauty-take a walk and don't miss the very back secret garden. I love just going to walk around and take in the scenery. They have lots of different plants and a knowledgeable staff. Enjoy. A unique nursery experience!

Great Nursery. Outstanding plants and selection
I show for myself and for my clients at Anderson's La Costa Nursery. They never fail to have unique plants and hard to find beauties.

    A cut above the rest!
I recently visited this nursery and it had the best seeds & other items compared to many other nurseries in the southern california area. Very clean & wonderful to check out specialties you won't necessarily find at other nurseries or cheap retail garden stores. If you want true quality and hard to find seeds, for example, visit Anderson's La Costa Nursery. It's a cut above the rest!

    Anderson's La Costa Nursery is...
Anderson's La Costa Nursery is a integral part of our neighborhood in Leucadia. The grounds are so beautiful, I would often take my daughter there as a "field trip"--their "secret garden" in the back is magical. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful. They know their plants and always have a wonderful selection.

Anderson's has been our "go-to" nursery for over 2 years now. We love the inventory of plants, pottery & other garden accessories! We've had the pleasure of speaking with Una every time we go there. She's been quite helpful & knowledgeable. Can't beat the personalized service!! Our young daughter enjoys coming with us here as well. She enjoys picking out plants & pottery just for her!

This is an amazing nursery! I decided to take out my front lawn, so I came in looking for different plant ideas and needing some guidance. The staff at this nursery are so great. Marc Smith, one of the owners, could not have been more helpful. He spent at least an hour with me, putting different grouping of plants together, so I could see how different color schemes worked and how to best create the exact look I wanted. He was so knowledgeable, I even had him come out to my house to draw up a landscape design. He came up with different plant ideas that I would have never thought about and also picked out a really cool tree that brought the whole design together. He kept the cost down for me, so I didn't need to break the bank.

All their staff was super friendly and helpful every time I walked in. I would 100% recommend this nursery to anyone having to redo their landscape or even if you just wanted a couple cool plant ideas for your yard. Great experience!!!

I recently moved to the area and was blessed with a housewarming gift of a gift certificate to this nursery. I pulled in and started wandering through this nursery and became quite excited. All sorts of indoor and outdoor plants, pots and trinkets. They have a nice little herb, fruit tree/bush and vegetable section, too.
I found a few lovely items to spend my gift certificate on and they are still going strong. Have been back since then and really enjoy wandering through this nursery and picking out a few treats.

Anderson's La Costa Nursery is one of the reasons why I love Leucadia so much.  The place is like a neighborhood park with beautiful grounds and very knowledgeable, friendly staff.  I often go there for gifts as well as for my own garden purchases. I've never been disappointed.

Really great nursery with lots of selection
Anderson's is a lovely nursery with winding outdoor areas and a secret-garden-feel, lots of fountains and water around. I always find really interesting plants here and it's pretty easy to get help with selection and care. The plants are more expensive than your local big-box nursery, but I can say that everything I've ever bought from here is thriving and doing wonderfully (can't say the same about the ones from the big box stores)

  • *****

    Big Selection
Much larger than it appears from the road. Big selection from house palnts to succulents to fruit trees and veggies. Helpful staff. Prices are good.

  • *****

This nursery nestled between the Carlsbad Lagoon and funky Leucadia is a wonderful addition to the community. They sell plants that flourish in the warm horticultural climate that we all love.

The layout feels like a compound in a good way. The buildings and greenhouses contain a large variety of  planters, fountains and supplies in addition to trees, houseplants, flowers and vegetables. The gigantic lot has walking paths leading through little ecosystems of plants grouped together in their ideal environment where they are pampered and able to thrive.

When the helpful staff is not assisting customers like me, they stay busy tending to the gardens. I love the way that everything is displayed in what looks more like a real life garden instead of a horticultural chop shop. I feel like I am buying items from a family friend instead of a conglomerate money machine and that means a lot to me.

This nursery is more than a place to buy plants, it is a business run by real people providing quality gardens to Leucadia and beyond.

I absolutely love having Jennifer as my designer; she continually expresses my vision in designing the English garden of my heart and dreams! When I look out my windows to the garden, my heart fills with joy and warmth. My family and friends enjoy spending time in the garden; birds and butterflies are now a fixture in my yard. Thank you Jennifer, you are a God-send!

  • *****

Anderson's is right down the street from us, but if it were farther away, I'd still drive to them, as the nursery is very relaxing and beautiful, and the staff have been incredibly knowledgeable and patient to help me pick just the right plant for different spaces indoor and out.

  • *****

Stumbled into this wonderful little gem over the weekend driving to the coast. What a great little nursery. So many interesting things to look at around every corner. We ended up buying a little plant and a wonderful little fountain. The service was GREAT and I'll definately be back when I need something unique.

  • *****

We recently completed a backyard transformation from a large amount of grass to a drought tolerant environment.  The owners (Mark and Mariah), designer (Randee) and the installation crew could not have been more responsive to our needs.  As with any project there were bumps or unexpected challenges, but the La Costa staff as a whole handled them efficiently and with a smile.  I would encourage anyone who is in need of expert advice, quality services, and high grade plants to go straight to Andersons, La Costa as they are a superior organization.

  • *****

Visiting Andersons is like getting lost in a dream of blossoming flowers. While walking through the grounds, you'll feel as though you are truly in a secret garden surrounded by harmonious water flowing through decorative fountains that are placed about. In the very back is a doll house big enough for children to venture in.

They focus on California succulents and other flowering beauties meant for this dry climate. All of the fountains are for sale as well and they have some exquisite ones.

The service is always friendly with expert advice. The owners work on the premises and take pride in their babies.

Wow - I wish wish wish my yard looked like this place. I even considered just bringing home pots of plants till I killed them, then I could just replace them with more lushness without ever digging a hole. (How dare I write that on earth day...hahahah)
This place just goes on and on - with sections of beautifully arranged plants - categorized by their environments; dry & drought resistant, shady and tropical, flowering & pretty, high maintenance orchids (beware my black thumb), and so much more. Their staff is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. (even the guys that seem way too young to know the genies and species of each plant.) Prices seemed reasonable.

  • *****

an inspirational place to visit when planning out your yard or garden. they have every possible landscape, from desert, tropical, vegetable garden, water plants, and everything in between. plus they have a fantastic selection of pots, ornaments, and fountains. we recently went here to purchase vegetable plants for our garden. the staff was friendly and helped us pick out the right am amending soil. we were pleased by the variety of different vegetables they had, and that all of the plants looks very healthy. they allow dogs here, and the sweet lady working at the time gave the dog a few milkbones and was very friendly. this place beats the home depot any day.

  • *****

One of the best nurseries in Southern California. While expensive, they carry great items that are not available elsewhere.

    Will never go anywhere else!!!!

Very beautiful plants and cactus's....beautiful atmosphere to stroll see and see neat ways to display planters at home as well as see a neat selection of plants.

I don't have a green thumb, but like to try to grow plants anyway. We went into home depot and had no one to help us with advice or suggestions. So we left. Then we went to Anderson's. Their plants are in impeccable condition, the grounds feel like a little secret garden and they have a nice selection of reasonably priced pottery.

Turns out that we've been drowning our hydrangea and knew nothing about the succulents we were about to pot en masse for our wedding. Know we know thanks to the nice people here! Glad that we stopped in. Anderson's is our first step toward successfully growing plants.

  • *****

Love this place! Great staff, selection and layout. You have to stop in here to "feel" the place.

  • *****

I absolutely Love this place.  Not only are the plants impeccable, but the customer service is superb and the prices are great!  They have a huge variety plus a great gift store.  It's also very peaceful.  I can walk around in there and I feel like I could stay for hours.  As an avid plant lover I feel so calm when I tour the nursery, which is set up more like a garden than a store.  The extremely knowledgeable and super friendly staff will help you in every step of your decision making process or leave you alone to enjoy the grounds.  Home Depot would just leave you alone, I never find anyone there to help me with plant questions.  Support Local and shop Anderson's La Costa!

  • *****

I've shopped at every nursery in town, from independent local nurseries to Home Depot, and time and time again I realize how much I like Andersons.  The selection is great, the staff is nice and helpful, and I always find something unique and interesting there.  It's true - Home Depot might have some of the more common plants at a lower price, but that's not always true.  The last time I was at Home Depot, I saw loads of $30 baskets - similar ones at Andersons were $20, including some huge, gorgeous fuschia baskets.  For the few bucks you might save at other stores, this one makes up with interesting and healthy plants.  I've also had nice luck ordering a few specialty plants through them.   I love this nursery.

  • *****

I LOVE nurseries and THIS one is like days gone by.....friendly staff, really interesting inventory, artfully arranged plants and Good prices!  I'll be back.  You won't be sorry you took the time to find this gem!

I'm a gardener plain and simple.  I love going to La Costa Nursery because one can wander around and look at all the plants and stuff that they have.  It is a gardeners dream.  The people who work there and the owners are super nice and helpful.  I've had a couple of plants die and they were quick to replace them, no questions asked.  Going there is a feel good experience and I hope they are there forever.

  • *****

This place is great.  Love the location!  I always find what I'm looking for either on my own or with help from the friendly staff and sometimes I'm happily surprised with finds I wasn't looking for.  I will continue to visit this beautiful little utopia to find my plants and garden supplies.  Can't beat it!

The quality of flowers that you get from Andersons is top notch.  This is the good thing about Andersons. On the flip side, the prices can be a bit higher than you'll see elsewhere. Even more if you've been accustomed to paying wholesale from wholesale nurseries in the area.

The staff here is really knowledgable and will answer any questions that you have regarding the plant, flower or tree you are looking to purchase. These guys usually have one of the better selection of indoor plants as well so while they are priced high, you get a great product and receive great service.

  • *****

We love this nursery. They have a large selection of unique plants. We love just walking around this quaint nursery of gorgeous flowers. They have a cool koi pond and we were able to feed the fish. Everyone who works there has been helpful and even packed up our car for us. We will be back for more plants. It's a bit pricey, but worth it.

  • *****

Thank you to other Yelpers for turning us on to this nursery. It's really user friendly for not-so-knowledgeable green thumb wanna-bees

Went to home depot last week and was willing to buy some plants, but the staff members there were about as knowledgeable as the plants themselves. Same deal at Lowe's.

Went to Anderson's, and the staff there was not only nice, but super helpful in picking out plants that would fit in the space we had, with the sunlight available and would be blooming through the winter (or at least maintaining foliage).

Myself and the fiancé went there as a couple, we are both able bodied human beings, but the staff insisted on helping us line our car with plastic so it wouldn't get extremely dirty, then helped us load the plants into the car as well. The nice lady who helped us saw that I had some paintball gear in the trunk, and asked about my interest in it because her fiancé was into it, lucky for her i was interested in getting rid of the gear, and it became hers because of her help.

We ended up spending just shy of 200 bones for landscaping around our cottage, and doing 5 window boxes, including 4 bags of soil. They take AMEX too.

I think I'll try my best to keep going here even after I learn more about plants. I'd rather support this place then someone who doesn't care enough to staff knowledgeable employees.

We have worked with Randee from Anderson's La Costa in the past but she out did herself again this time round.  Randee is able to look at your style and incorporate it into your landscape.  Her vision is amazing and she truly is a landscape artist!  Thank you again! We love what you have done for us!

When I walk around my beautiful yard, I note that some of my favorite trees/plants have come from Andersons La Costa. They have a really good selection of water-wise plants like Leucadendrons, kangaroo paws, and succulents. There are bedding plants, fruit trees, a vast selection of indoor & shade plants like orchids, bromeliads, fig trees, etc. Two of my favorite trees in my yard are from here; a beautifully shaped Jacaranda we bought about 4 years ago, and a very prolific yellow flowering tree,. Gold Medallion, which is in full bloom right now and eye catching. They also have a really good selection of fountains. The plants are all lush and healthy here, and not root-bound like I find at some places that may have less expensive prices. It's worth the trip to experience the peace you will feel walking amongst the greenery and flowers.

Anderson's La Costa Nursery just completed the plants for our small condo in Leucadia. Randee was the designer and the finished work exceeded our expectations. She guided and challenged us and we are thrilled with how it looks. Our condo has three different sized decks. With her help we chose beautiful blue pots. She guided us to large plants that have made a difference in the look and feel of the space. What is so fantastic is that the plants have made the decks appear to have more volume, provided a level of privacy, and made the  inside of the condo connect beautifully. And the plants are drought resistant. The owners and staff and staff  provided us with a great experience and we are so enjoying the beauty of the plantings

The Best Place for Butterfly Plants!
Last year, we were involved in a rescue operation for Monarch butterflies and discovered that Anderson's La Costa Nursery shared our passion. They carried the precise plants that Monarchs prefer and need to survive. Additionally, they have a monthly email newsletter that we look forward to reading each month.

Anderson's is now a favorite stop for all our gardening needs!

    Great staff and quality plants
My wife has done most of our house with plants and advice from Andersons La Costa.

There always seems to be someone knowledgeable around, which really helps. They also seem to have a more interesting selection than your typical Home Depot, for example.

Have yet to see it crowded, which is also nice!

Much larger than it appears from the road. Big selection from house palnts to succulents to fruit trees and veggies. Helpful staff. Prices are good.

    BUTTERFLY GARDENS
Thet were my first place for milkweed! I still think they are the best price for starter plants
